Growing up with a single mom, I learned early that even the smallest gesture could mean everything. My mom would leave little “happies” on my bed, the kitchen table, or the bathroom counter, small surprises that simply said, I’m thinking about you.
That tradition stayed with me. I began doing the same for my daughters, my friends and neighbors, finding little ways to make the people I loved feel special.
